Civil Systems Apps / Privacy
A little clarity.
This page describes the games catalog website. The Civil Systems Privacy & Terms describes the Android apps and other services.
Android games
All Civil Systems Android games support offline gameplay and do not request permission prompts. Progress is saved on your device. Optional purchases use Google Play services.
Website measurement
Analytics collection is currently disabled. This website does not send measurement events or load an analytics provider.
Browser storage and hosting
The Subsystem Synth browser demo stores game progress, solved routes, settings, and chapter selection locally using dotline-prefixed storage keys. These are not sent to Civil Systems. Settings offers Export Save and Import Save so you can keep a backup. Sharing or saving a generated song happens only when you choose it. Browser progress and Android purchases do not sync automatically.
The Day / Night control stores only your display preference in local browser storage under civil-systems-mode. It is not transmitted. You can clear it in your browser settings. Netlify delivers this website and processes request information needed to host and secure it under Netlify's privacy policy.
Optional YouTube videos
Some app pages offer creator videos. The preview artwork is hosted here; no YouTube player or thumbnail request is loaded before you press Play. Pressing Play connects to YouTube through its privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube may process network and playback information under its own privacy practices. You may also choose the external YouTube link. This is not anonymous or tracking-free playback.
External links
Google Play and the main Civil Systems website have their own privacy disclosures. Visiting a link opens that service. No purchase or installation data returns to this catalog.
